Varador 2000 and Comet@ Sailing Team have reached an agreement of collaboration for the next edition of the King’s Cup Regatta to be held in the bay of Palma de Mallorca from 2 to 9 August 2014. According to this OK, Varador 2000 sponsor the boat Comet@, a Vrolijk 37 eleven meters long has been this year in second position (ORC class 2) of the prestigious Conde de Godo Trophy Regatta held last May.

The agreement was sealed Xiqui Mas, CEO of Varador 2000, and Lluís Blanchar the owner of the boat. The Comet@ is a very competitive boat that aspires to win the King’s Cup Regatta, a race which has achieved good results whenever words participated (second and third in 2010 and 2009, respectively). Carlos Rodriguez, the sailing team skipper, crew command a very competitive expert who has won the King’s Cup Regatta three times with other boats.

Lluís Blanchar personally supervised the start point Comet@ for this year’s King’s Cup Regatta. The shipowner Comet@ has extensive experience as a sailor. Door six years competing in the Cruising class, where he earned a runner-up four championships in Spain and Catalonia. Carlos Rodriguez, for his part, is a very experienced sailor who has repeatedly won trophies as prestigious as PalmaVela, Princess Sophia, Zegna, Godó, Challenging Audi, Cup Queen and several editions of the King’s Cup Regatta.

Varador 2000 takes thirty years to support the sport of yacht racing. Over the past three decades has sponsored numerous boats that have won a lot of competitions and trophies as the same King’s Cup Regatta sailing the years 2010 and 2012 with Comet 41 Power Plate. He has also sponsored numerous regattas and sailing events of all kinds as Race Menorca Biosphere Reserve (2013), among many others.
