·The refit contemplates the construction of a new visor, new accesses and a new anchoring system

Varador 2000 has just delivered one of the most sophisticated refits made in its technical facilities during the last months. It has been carried out on a Dutch yacht of 24 meters in length, which has completely changed its old front and side skyline with the installation of a new visor and solarium on top built to measure by the team of professionals of Varador 2000. The new visor, 4.10 meters wide, integrates completely harmoniously with the lines and aesthetics of the boat.

It has been manufactured in composites with white painted finishes with the Awlgrip G line system. The visor has been embellished with a gunwale of varnished wood that covers its entire upper perimeter. The performance is completed with the construction of a new ladder to access the flybridge in stainless steel and teak steps. A new sliding hatch for access to the solarium has also been opened, and new sirens and flying butress bearings have been installed on the front of the visor.

New anchoring system

In parallel to the installation of the new visor, the hull of the dead work and the deck have also been repainted with the Awlgrip G line system, and varnishes have been applied throughout the exterior carpentry of the boat using the Awlgrip Awlwood system. In addition to these improvements in hull and deck, during the stay of the yacht in Varador 2000, a new anchoring system has also been installed that includes the following equipment: new anchor shield (HHP Pool N type anchor and 150 chain meters on the starboard side); new hydraulic windlass with double barboten and cabiron, and new stainless steel anchor retainers and stoppers. Also, a new flush hatch lined in teak has been installed for access to the anchors chest.

The refit has been completed with the installation of new electrical and electronic equipment and with the manufacture of new stainless steel hardware. Improvements have also been made in all the electro-hydraulic equipment of the boat.
