·Industrial collaboration agreement between Varador 2000 and ShineX
Varador 2000 incorporates a new workshop specialized in finishes and detailing in its repair & refit shipyard in the port of Arenys de Mar. The new company that has established its industrial activity in the Varador 2000 shipyard is ShineX, one of the best specialized workshops in the sector in interior and exterior surface treatments.
ShineX thus joins the other companies that were already developing their activities in the Arenys shipyard: Sailing Solutions, Hymapro, Motor Nautic, Global Motors Arenys, Luxwood Fusteria Naval, Diplonautic, Neptune and Garriga BCN.
ShineX is a company specialized in top coats, painting, treatments and finishes of all types of boat surfaces. It offers a comprehensive service: funds, surface preparation, painting, polishing, sealing, top coats, treatments and detailing. It has expert personnel in recovering contaminated surfaces and in the application of protection systems on all types of surfaces, especially painted surfaces (Protective Paint System). It also offers a comprehensive maintenance and cleaning service for boats.
The company is managed by Jaime Fernández Hyde, who began his professional career twenty-nine years ago in Fort Lauderdale (Florida). In recent years the company has established its activity center in Barcelona, evolving in the nautical sector towards new more specialized activity niches generated by the new demands of the sector. “Our objective –indicates Jaime Fernández– is to take care of the detail and take care of the client, who does not have to worry about anything when he puts his boat in our hands”. ShineX also develops its detailing activity with high-end cars.
The new ShineX workshops located in the Varador 2000 technical area add value to the hub of companies that already operate in the shipyard, the only one capable of providing a comprehensive technical service to all types of sailing and motor boats on the north coast of Barcelona, preferably of lengths between 20 and 50 meters. These specialized workshops consolidate and provide quality to the shipyard.
Strategic position in the Mediterranean
Varador 2000 is the reference shipyard of the north coast of Barcelona specialized in lengths of 20 to 50 meters. Its technical base of repair & refit of Arenys de Mar is located in a strategic position of the Mediterranean coast, halfway between Barcelona and the Costa Brava. It is located 35 kilometers from Barcelona and has good communication systems: two international airports, high frequency of rail transport and, of course, road connection via highway.
Nowadays Varador 2000 offers to his clients a wide range of technical services with industrial workshops specialized in different areas of nautical such as carpentry, painting, electronics, electricity, hydraulics, motors, indoor and outdoor upholstery and sails, as well as services of deck hardware and rigging, wintering and storage, among others. Varador 2000 also offers its clients global project management services, a marina for superyachts (Mataró Marina Barcelona) and its exclusive services Tender Clinic services specific for auxiliary boats of superyacht, and Teak Clinic of repair and maintenance of teak surfaces for superyachts.
