The nautical company Varador 2000 has received the Business Career Award given annually by the Federation of Business Associations and Guilds of Maresme (FAGEM). Xiqui Mas, CEO of Varador 2000, received the award from the Minister of Business and Labor of the Catalan Govern, Roger Torrent, in the presence of the president of FAGEM, Roser Moré. The award ceremony took place during the celebration of the XIV Maresme Entrepreneurship Night, which was also attended by Josep Sánchez-Llibre, president of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional, the main catalan employers’ organization.
Varador 2000 received the FAGEM Award for Business Trajectory in recognition of its almost forty years of experience in the Catalan nautical industry, which has made it one of the leading companies in the country in the field of repair & refit, that is, repair, transformation and maintenance of motor and sailing boats. Varador 2000 also manages a marina for large boats. Varador 2000 won the award after beating the other two finalist companies competing for the award, Capgròs Comunicació and Fusteria Bassas.
During the XIV Maresme Entrepreneurship Night, the business initiatives of Excavations Iluro (Yolanda Cebrià), Mármoles Commarga (Ruben Bautista), Restaurant Flappers (Anxhela Naska), and the construction entrepreneur Juan Jordán were also awarded.
Varador 2000, a benchmark in the nautical sector
Varador 2000 is the benchmark shipyard in Catalonia in the segment of medium and large lengths, between 15 and 50 meters.
