The second generation of the Mas family takes charge of the company Nautica Esplai, founded by Lluís Mas. A public limited company is created dedicated to the commercialization and the nautical service.
The company manages the facilities of the Arenys de Mar shipyard (a 200 ton travelift and 7,000 square metre esplanade), that allow to offer a comprehensive nautical service.
The company changes its name to Varador 2000. The technical esplanade is expanded to 10,000 square meters and a painting shed for boats measuring 35 metres is built.
Inauguration of the Varador 2000 delegation in Palma. The delegation provides technical and logistical assistance and support to all Varador 2000 clients from the Balearic Islands. This site also acts as a commercial office of the company.
Varador 2000 starts to expand internationally, participating in the main fairs and nautical events around the world, as Monaco Yacht Show and others.
Inauguration of Mataró Marina Barcelona, a nautical base for large boats located on the west pier of Mataró Port, in close proximity to Barcelona.
